untitled_artwork_15

Plaque and then tartar are the two most common problems in oral hygiene.

Bacteria, which contain dental plaque, produce acids that slowly etch the tooth enamel and, when exposed to them for a longer period of time, cause tooth decay.

Plaque also damages the attachment of the tooth in the bone - it attacks the periodontium. Periodontiums are fibrous fibers that connect the tooth root to the bone bed and further connect the tooth's neck to the gums.

Accumulated plaque that you do not remove can mineralize, stain and turn to tartar. The most effective way to remove dental plaque is to use an IONICKISS ionic toothbrush.

IONICKISS - A JAPANESE SAMURAI FIGHTING WITH TOOTH PLAQUE

With the ionic toothbrush, your teeth will be 48% cleaner, even in hard-to-reach places. Plus, there is no need to use toothpaste.

It is clinically proven that the IONICKISS toothbrush is much more effective than a regular manual toothbrush, and users report cleaner and smoother teeth without plaque when visiting their dentist.

The IONICKISS manual toothbrush is an unrivaled helper in the fight against dental plaque. The patented Japanese technology causes the plaque to be repelled from the surface of your teeth, similar to using a magnet.

If you combine a manual ionic toothbrush with the right tooth cleaning technique, you will ensure not only a healthy and fresh mouth, but also the brightest smile. :)

Recent scientific studies point to the fact that the health and cleanliness of our mouths affects our overall health more than we previously thought. Invest in your health and get the most effective toothbrush on the market. Stop being stressed by visiting the dentist and enjoy healthy teeth without plaque.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

BEFORE CLEANING

how-works-before

Everything in nature has ion-based polarity.

Plaque has a positive charge (+) and the tooth surface has a negative charge (-).

Opposite polarities are the reason why the surface of the teeth attracts dental plaque and it therefore adheres to the teeth by means of an ionic bond.

DURING TEETH CLEANING

how-works-after

The IONICKISS ionic toothbrush has a small lithium battery built into the toothbrush handle. The battery is connected to a titanium rod that passes through a toothbrush. There is a thin metal Ionipad strap on the toothbrush handle.

Before cleaning the teeth, it is necessary to moisten the fingers with water, which will come into contact with the metal strip and the moisture will create a closed circuit where negative ions are generated.

The ionisation then disrupts the ionic bond between the plaque and the tooth, thereby repelling the plaque from the tooth surface toward the brush head.

When brushing a small child's teeth as a parent, it is necessary to ensure contact between the child and the parent by touching each other (eg by holding the hand or holding the jaw) so that the electrical circuit closes and the ionisation works properly.

EFFICIENT exchangeable  HEADS

IONICKISS toothbrushes have interchangeable heads of different types and hardnesses, so you can choose according to your preferences. IONICKISS toothbrushes save not only your teeth but also your bank account, because you do not have to change the entire manual brush, but only its head (Note: Dentists recommend changing the head every 2-3 months or always after illness).

DESCRIPTION OF IONICKISS IONIC TOOTHBRUSH

brush-description

  1. THE BRISTLES - IONICKISS toothbrushes are made of the highest quality materials. Quality bristles remove all bacteria.

  2. IONICKISS interchangeable toothbrush heads - Interchangeable heads ensure the long life of your toothbrush. When they are worn, simply replace them with new ones and your toothbrush is ready to use as on the day you purchased it.

  3. IONIPAD (metal tape) - is a place that one must touch when brushing teeth with a moist hand / finger to generate ions. The flow of ions is disrupted by the ionic bond between the tooth surface and the plaque. In the children's brush, the IONIPAD metal tape is replaced by a conductive material - a thermoplastic composite, which is located on the back of the brush handle. Ionisation works the same way.

  4. BATTERY TEST BUTTON - Press the battery test button, usually once or twice a week, to verify that the battery is working. The battery lasts at least 1 year under normal use. If the LED light / LED is lit (red for the ORIGINAL type and green for the KIDS type), the battery is working and ionisation is in progress. If not lit, replace the brush.

HOW TO USE THE IONICKISS IONIC BRUSH CORRECTLY

STEP 1:

how-to-use-1

Touch the IONIPAD metal tape with a moist finger to increase the ion generation flow. Always touch IONIPAD metal tape when brushing your teeth. In the children's brush, the metal tape is replaced on the back by a conductive material - a thermoplastic composite. The child grasps the handle of the brush and if it touches the back with a wet hand, the ionisation works in the same way as with the ORIGINAL brush.

Step 2:

how-to-use-2

To remove the interchangeable brush head, hold the brush with one hand and gently rotate the head with the other hand. When the head releases, remove it upwards.

Place the new brush head on the metal bar and snap it to the toothbrush.

STEP 3:

how-to-use-3

When using toothpaste, the paste may settle in the gaps between the brush and the dental head.

Whenever possible, clean the brush head and metal rod.

STEP 4:

how-to-use-4

Press the IONITEST button to check the battery status. You only need to check 1-2 times a week. Do not press the button when brushing your teeth.

If the LED light comes on (red for the ORIGINAL type and green for the KIDS type), the brush has enough energy for the ionisation process and is therefore fully functional. If the light stops shining, it is necessary to replace the brush with a new one.

The battery lasts at least 1 year under normal use.

When brushing a small child's teeth as parent, it is necessary to ensure contact between the child and the parent by touching each other (eg by holding the hand or holding the jaw) so that the electrical circuit closes and the ionisation works properly.

How to take care of IONICKISS toothbrushes

Návrhová plocha 1

Regular basic care of your IONICKISS brush prevents the overgrowth of bacteria on it's surface and significantly prolongs it's life.

IONICKISS brushes are designed for use and storage in bathrooms and are therefore to a certain extent resistant to moisture and water. However, storage next to a constantly wet sink does not suit the materials from which they are made from. IONICKISS brushes contain different types of batteries, so they are electrical equipment, and it is necessary to take care of them accordingly.

Basic rules of care for IONICKISS ORIGINAL toothbrushes:

  • After using the brush, remove the replacement head regularly (at least once a week), remove any dirt and wipe the titanium guide bar dry. keep the brush disassembled in this way for it to dry freely.
  • Store brushes in a dry place in your bathroom.
  • Prevent the brush from falling.
  • Check the battery function by pressing the button approximately once a week. By checking more often, you increase the battery discharge rate unnecessarily.

Basic rules of care for IONICKISS IONPA toothbrushes:

  • After using the brush, remove the replacement head regularly (at least once a week), remove any gunk and wipe the titanium guide bar dry. keep the brush disassembled in this way to dry freely.
  • Store the toothbrush in a dry place in your bathroom.
  • Prevent your brush from falling
  • Only charge the IONPA HOME brush in the docking station when the battery level requires it. Continuous recharging of li-ion batteries does not work and even reduces their service life.

If you do not use the IONPA TRAVEL brush or UV CASE sterilisation case for a long time, remove the battery. This will prevent it from corroding and possibly damaging the device.

IONICKISS brand story

The Japanese company Ionic Corporation is a company with a family tradition that builds its success on a unique patented technology of ionic teeth cleaning.

_q9a0281

The history of the ionic toothbrush dates back to 1889, when this technology was first patented in the USA.

By 1970, several American companies had tried to bring technology to the American market, but without success., the Japanese managed to commercialize. Hiroshi Hukuba, founder of Hukuba Dental Corporation.

In 1995, the company launched its flagship, the IONICKISS manual ionic toothbrush (KISS YOU) in Japan, and in the same year, the trademark was registered and the product was approved for the US market by the FDA.

The Japanese company has thus started a real revolution in tooth cleaning and has become a global leader in the production and development of ionic technology, and continues to set the trend in this industry.

Between 1995 and 2017, the company of the founder Mr. Hiroshi Hukuby has developed significantly and has established several strategic partnerships. However, he still builds on family values.

Martin and Marie Navrátil, who brought Japanese ionic brushes to the Czech market and are building their company as a family business, also continue this tradition. They fully identify with the mission of the original founder that: "Health begins in our mouths."

You can read more about their story HERE.

"Before we decided to distribute ionic brushes in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, we studied how the health of our mouths affects the overall health of our body. We contacted our friends and showed them samples, explained the unique technology and its effectiveness. Once they had a toothbrush in their hand and understood the principle of ionisation, the whole concept came to them meaningful and they liked the toothbrush, "Martin Navrátil explains the background of the decision-making process.

Questions and Answers (Q&A)

GENERAL - TOOTHBRUSH FUNCTIONS AND FEATURES

1. Is the toothBRUSH ELECTRIC OR HAND TOOTHBRUSH?

The IONICKISS toothbrush (type ORIGINAL, type KIDS) is a manual ionic toothbrush that has a built-in 3V battery, which is used to create a circuit between the body and the brush so that ionisation can take place. You have to clean your teeth in the standard way, but you will feel the difference after brushing your teeth, which will be beautifully smooth and free of dental plaque.

2. Does the brush head vibrate the same way as a traditional electric toothbrush?

No. The IONICKISS toothbrush is used like any regular manual toothbrush. The difference is in the function of ionisation, which takes place inaudibly and without vibrations.

3. Is the toothbrush safe?

Yes, IONICKISS toothbrushes are designed to be absolutely safe and gentle for brushing teeth. The batteries are Panasonic brands and all have safety certificates.

4. How do I know if IONICKISS is meeting expectations?

The results are individual. Many users report a new feeling of cleanliness after several cleanings, especially for smokers. Your dentist may mention that your teeth look smoother and cleaner, and the need for deeper cleaning and polishing may be less.

5. Can the toothbrush irritate my gums?

It is always necessary to choose the right parameters of the brush, such as hardness, bristle length, head shape, so that the gums are massaged when cleaning the teeth, but so that they do not damage them unnecessarily. It also depends on the cleaning technique that your dental hygienist or dentist will help you with. If you have more sensitive gums, it is recommended to start with softer toothbrush heads.

6. What material is the black back of the kids brush made from?

The children's toothbrush uses modern TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) instead of IONIPAD metal tape, which is a thermoplastic composite with a conductive filler that performs a conductive function for the ionisation process.

7. Which head is the right one for me?

There is no clear answer to this question. Some prefer soft and some harder brushes, and it's a good idea to consider bristle density, head size, head shape, and fiber trimming.
However, it is not only the already mentioned parameters of the brushes, but also the cleaning technique that is decisive. In general, people with smaller teeth can choose smaller heads (such as SOFT heads or EXTRA SOFT heads) that reach hard-to-reach places where bacteria hide. For people with high / larger teeth, it may be advantageous to use wide heads (eg our EXTRA SOFT WIDE heads). We recommend that you contact your dentist or dental hygienist to select a suitable head.

8. How often should I change the heads?

Výměnné hlavice doporučují stomatologové měnit každé 2-3 měsíce anebo po prodělaném infekčním onemocnění.

9. On the web, you declare brushing your teeth without toothpaste. Is it possible to use the IONICKISS brush with paste?

Yes. IONICKISS brushes clean teeth just as well with and without paste. The use of paste does not affect the ionisation process.

Ionisation

10. Does the IONICKISS toothbrush really work and why does it remove plaque better?

Yes, it is patented technology that allows dental plaque to get out of the tooth surface more efficiently. Dental plaque binds to the surface of the teeth due to the positive charge created by saliva. The built-in IONICKISS toothbrush battery directs the negative ion flow at the tips of the toothbrush bristles and loosens the bond between the tooth surface and the dental plaque. This makes it easier to remove dental plaque. As evidence, we can cite several clinical studies that confirm the effectiveness of the IONICKISS brush.

11. How does IONICKISS remove plaque?

IONICKISS generates a gentle flow of negative ions that disrupt the ionic bond between the tooth surface and the dental plaque, thus repelling the dental plaque from the tooth surface

12. Does the ionication process work even if the child's teeth are cleaned by the child?

Yes. placing a moist hand on the ionic tape (or on the entire back in the case of child brushes) will create a closed circuit where negative ions are generated. These negative ions disrupt the ionic bond that holds the plaque to your teeth (or your Child's teeth).

13.Will ionisation work if I have dental implants?

Of course! The IONICKISS brush improves plaque removal by ions, so its effect reaches places that are difficult to reach with a conventional brush.

BATTERIES

14. How does the battery work?

The 3V battery is hermetically built into the brush. It is not replaceable. Press the button at the bottom of the brush to see if the battery has enough energy for the ionisation process. If the light is on at the top of the brush (red for the ORIGINAL type and green for the KIDS type), you can use the brush and ionisation will take place during cleaning. If the light is off, replace the brush with a new one.

15. How does the light on the brush work?

The light is only used to test whether the battery has enough power. Testing 1-2 times a week is sufficient. Do not hold your finger on the test button so that the light shines while brushing your teeth, as this will unnecessarily drain the battery.

16. How long does the batterie last?

For manual brushes, we guarantee battery life for at least one year. If the battery status light goes out after less than one year, we recommend that you first thoroughly clean the metal rod on which the replacement head is attached, along with drying the brush for 24 hours. During use, deposits adhere to the metal rod, which may cause insufficient contact with the head and the indicator light (even if the battery is not discharged) will turn off.
If cleaning and drying do not help, do not hesitate to contact us, we will replace your toothbrush with a new one.

17. What should I do with the brush when the battery is low?

Neither the battery nor any part of the IONICKISS toothbrush contains any harmful metal or other material, so you can dispose of them in a normal garbage can.

18. Can the battery be replaced or recharged?

No, it can't be recharged or replaced. The battery is hermetically built into the toothbrush. After its discharge (which usually takes a year to a year and a half), the ionisation process stops working. You then have to buy a new toothbrush.

PATENTS AND STUDIES

19.Where is the technology patented?

The patent can be found in the list of international patents: link

20. Are there clinical trials?

Yes, there are several clinical studies (eg USA, Japan, India) that confirm more effective plaque removal efficiencies by up to 48%. Furthermore, studies show an improvement in the plaque index of 36% and the gingivitis index of 52%.

OTHER

21. Je možné kartáček vrátit?
According to the Civil Code, the goods can be returned within 14 days of receipt, but for toothbrushes, the contract cannot be withdrawn if you unpack the goods and this cannot be offered for hygienic reasons. If you return the brush in its original, unopened and undamaged packaging within 14 days, we will refund your money.
22. Can I use a toothbrush if I have braces?

Yes. Braces are no problem when brushing your teeth with an ionic brush. On the contrary, it removes all impurities very quickly. For example, a single-bundle head is very suitable for cleaning teeth with braces and hard-to-reach places (eg wisdom teeth).

23. Are there any usage restrictions?

The IONICKISS brush is made of plastic and has a hermetically sealed 3V lithium battery, so it must not be exposed to high temperatures (over 70 ° C). Do not store the brush in water due to possible corrosion of the IONIPAD metal tape.

24. I have a pacemaker can I use the IONICKISS brush?

Yes. The current in the battery is so small (10 ~ 50 microamperes) that it is imperceptible to humans. Of course, consult your doctor before starting any new treatment regimen.

25. Can I use the toothbrush if I have fillings in my teeth?

Yes. The ionic brush is suitable for all types of fillings - amalgam, composite or ceramic.
